This course is designed to explore higher categories. It is the sequel to the courses Homotopy I and II given by B. Vallette and N. Idrissi, and the theories of simplicity sets and of Quillen model categories are prerequisites for this course.
The first part of the course will be devoted to some constructions in categories that can be adapted to the world of higher categories and we'll study the specific cases of 2-categories and quasi-categories. We'll present different models for (oo,1)-categories and show their equivalences. Then we'll build some models for (oo,n)-categories.The second part will concentrate on some recent papers on the topics, that will be chosen at the beginning of the course.
